New Springfield - Charlene Rae Peck, 61, of New Springfield, died Thursday, August 14, 2014 at her home.
Charlene was born March 8, 1953 in Medina, OH, a daughter of Donald and Isabel Gower Graffius.
She was a life-long resident of this area and attended Columbiana High School. Charlene was a wonderful homemaker and loved taking care of her husband, children, and spending precious time with her granddaughter.
She leaves her husband of 43 years, Fred Peck, whom she married October 10, 1970; two daughters, Vicki and son-in-law Mike Powell of East Palestine and Janet Peck Mikesell of West Virginia; two sisters, Debbie (Herb) Douda of Boardman and Nancy French of Columbiana; three brothers, Dale (Peg Write) Graffius of New Springfield, Richard (Terri) Graffius of Salem, and Mark (Cindy) Graffius of Columbiana; and her beloved granddaughter, Liz Powell of East Palestine of whom she was endlessly proud. The times shared between "G" and her Peanut will be forever cherished.
Besides her parents, Charlene was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Don and Shirley Graffius of Hanoverton.
In keeping with her wishes no calling hours or services will be held.
