Lowellville - Ida C. Ramun, died October 30, 2014 at Omni Manor Health Care Center.
Mrs. Ramun was born October 12, 1922 in Lowellville, a daughter of Samuel and Caroline Oliano Coppola.
She was a 1940 graduate of Lowellville High School. Ida was a member of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church.
She was an avid reader that loved to cook and take care of her family and friends.
Her husband, Joseph, whom she married August 9, 1941, died Aug. 22, 1972.
She is survived by two sons, Joseph (Kathy) Ramun of Struthers and David A Ramun of Lowellville; two daughters, Carole McIntyre-Weiszer of Cortland and Kathleen (Dan) Libert of Cortland; five grandchildren, Joseph, David, Kimberly Ramun; Dana and Alicia Libert; and four great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, Ida was preceded in death by two brothers, Anthony and E. Joseph Coppola.
A prayer service will be Monday at 9:30AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, 244 McGill St., Lowellville followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary at 10:00 AM with Fr. John Jerek officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Cemetery.
Friends and family will be received Sunday 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
