Martin Richard Schuller

Martin Richard Schuller, 84, passed away Tuesday morning, July 29, with his wife and daughter by his side.
Martin was born in New Bedford, Pa., on May 7, 1930, a son of Martin and Marie Span Schuller.
Martin graduated with honors from The Rayen School in 1949. He enlisted in the United States Air Force and served during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1955 as Staff Sergeant. Returning to Youngstown, Martin graduated from Y.S.U. with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He worked at Commercial Shearing and Stamping Company in the field of manufacturing for 40 years from 1955-1995 when he retired.
He married his wife, the former Diane Jones on August 29, 1959. Martin was active at Good Hope Lutheran Church, serving as Council President, Sunday School Superintendent and Bible Teacher.
Martin was a member of Western Star Lodge F&AM No. 21, and a 33rd degree Mason of Youngstown Scottish Rite. Martin was Master of Western Star Lodge in 1987, installing Master and President of Past Masters Association, and Trustee of the Masonic Temple for 13 years. Martin was appointed to serve Grand Lodge of Ohio as District Education Officer and District Deputy Grand Master. He was crowned an active member of the Supreme Council on September 25, 2001 and was Worshipful Master.
He leaves to cherish his memory and will be dearly missed by his wife Diane, of 54 years. He also leaves his three children, his daughter Darlene of Boardman; and his two sons, Dean (Darlene) Schuller of Ontario, Canada and Dale (Eliza) Schuller from Sacramento, California; his brother Bill (Thelma) Schuller of Austintown; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11:00 AM at the Good Hope Lutheran Church,98 Homestead Drive, Boardman.
Family and friends may call Sunday from 4-7 PM at the Davis Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market Street, Boardman 44512 and Monday from 10-10:45 AM at the church.

Western Star Lodge will conduct a Masonic Service, Sunday at 7PM.
