Lowellville - Shirley A. Commisso, 73, died August 11, 2014 at her residence.
Mrs. Commisso was born October 17, 1940 in Youngstown.
She was a 1958 Wilson High School graduate. Shirley was a homemaker and a member of Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church.
She enjoyed going to Mountaineer, having coffee with friends, watching old movies, and spending time with her grandson.
Her husband, Donald, whom she married, Oct. 12, 1963, died March 23, 2010.
She is survived by her son, Dino (Lori Ditman) Commisso of Coitsville Township,; one daughter, Angel Commisso-West of Coitsville; one grandson, Dominick Commisso; four sisters, Joann (Paul) Butch of Edinburg, Judy Venosky of Canfield, Rose (Ron) Hartman of Austintown, and Stephanie (Bob) Pasquale of Canfield; one brother, John (Judy) Bolembach of Youngstown; and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Markovich of Pennsylvania.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.
A prayer service will be held Saturday at 9:15AM at Cunningham-Becker, 270 N. Main St., Poland, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at Christ Our Savior Parish at Holy Trinity Church at 10:00AM.
Friends and family will be received Friday from 4-7PM at the funeral home.
