Antoinette M. Zetts, lovingly known as Toni, passed at the age of 85 on Sunday evening, August 25, 2024, at Mercy Health-St. Elizabeth Hospital in Boardman, Ohio. She was born on July 29, 1939 in Lowellville, Ohio, to Anthony and Rose Nocera Trimble and was raised in Struthers.

Toni was proud to be a graduate of Struthers High School, Class of 1957. Her career in banking began at First Federal Bank of Youngstown, which later became First Place Bank. After 16 dedicated years of service, she retired in 1998 as a switchboard operator.

A devoted member of Holy Family Church, Toni found joy in singing and was a former participant in the church choir. Her love for music shone brightly throughout her life. She showcased her talents on the Ted Mack Show in New York City and achieved recognition by being a two-time winner of the Poland Idol competition at the Celebrate Poland festivities.  Additionally, Toni shared her passion for music with residents in local nursing homes and took part in live theater performances at Top Hat Productions.

Toni and her husband, Jerome Zetts, known affectionately as Jerry, shared 57 years of marriage. Together, they traveled to Las Vegas where Toni indulged in her enthusiasm for playing slot machines.

Toni's warmth and caring spirit extended to her family and friends, who were the center of her world. A three-time cancer survivor, she faced her challenges with an inspiring positive attitude and unwavering resilience.
