Dena M. Rosenberger

Boardman - Dena M. Rosenberger, 62, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, January 26, 2023, at Mercy Health-St. Elizabeth Boardman Hospital.

Dena was born September 8, 1960 in Youngstown, OH, a daughter of the late Roy and Dorothy Rosenberger.

She graduated from Poland Seminary High School and was a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley.

Dena worked for R & R Mack Trucking Company in Youngstown, as a clerk.  She later went to work for Sparkle Market Grocery Stores on South Avenue in Youngstown and in Columbiana, working in the Deli Department for 15 years, retiring in 2020.

Dena is survived by her lifelong companion and best friend, Gilbert, known as Sam Demello, Jr. of Boardman, OH; and a sister, Gail Helms of Madison, Mississippi.

Besides her parents, Roy and Dorothy, Dena was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Rosenberger.

Per Dena's request, a private graveside service was held on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Lake Park Cemetery in Youngstown.  There are no calling hours.
