Medina. John Richard âa�A"Dickâa�A� Williams, 60, of 553 East Reagan Parkway died Thursday morning at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Williams was born August 25, 1941 in Youngstown a son of John âa�A"Jackâa�A� and Theresa U. McCreary Williams. He was raised in Struthers attending St Nicholas Elementary School. He was a 1959 graduate of Cardinal Mooney High School where he played football. He was a graduate of the American Management School and the Republic Institute of Management. He moved to Boardman in 1975 and to Medina in 1984. He worked at Wean United in Youngstown for 19 years becoming superintendent of the machine shop until their closing when he went to NRM in Columbiana, Ohio in the same position for three years. In 1983 he became Vice President of Production at Production Experts which later became Production Technology in Cleveland. He retired in 1998 due to his declining health. In Struthers Mr. Williams had been a leader of a Weblos group of the Boy Scouts. He was a veteran of the U.S. army serving in Germany in 1963. He was a former member of the Rotary Club of Medina. He leaves his wife the former Caroline Eileen Trucksis, whom he married October 28, 1967, a daughter Margaret âa�A"Maggieâa�A� Williams of Medina, a son Jason Williams and a daughter in law, Angel of Parma and a sister Margaret âa�A"Peggyâa�A� Moss of Struthers. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home 11 Spring Street and at 10:30 AM in St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church 764 Sexton Street, both in Struthers. Friends may call from 2-4 PM and 7:30- 9:00 PM Friday and from 9:00 AM âa�" 9:45 AM Saturday at the funeral home. The committal will held at a later date at the St. Francis Cemetery in Medina.
