Dolores E. Mohr

Boardman - Dolores E. Mohr, 93, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family. 

Dolores was born October 14, 1930 in Youngstown, Ohio, a daughter of the late Edgar and Caroline (Guyer) Mitchell.

She graduated from East High School in Youngstown and was a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley.  

Dolores was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  

Dolores is survived by two sons, David L. Mohr of Poland, OH, and Gary L. Mohr of Sherrills Ford, NC; two daughters, Diane L. Simerlink and Cindy L. (Victor) Ranalli both of Boardman, OH; five grandchildren, Jennifer, Kristen, Stephanie,  Kelsey, and Steven; six great-grandchildren, Avery, Riley, Morgan, Hudson, Lucy, and Logan. 

Besides her parents, Edgar and Caroline, Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L. Mohr, who passed away on December 24, 2003.  

Family and friends may call on Monday, January 29, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Davis-Becker Funeral Home, 8536 Market Street in Boardman.  There will be a funeral service celebrating Dolores' life on Tuesday, January 30, 2024,  at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Reverend Mike Byus officiating.  Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Boardman.  

The family would recognize and thank Akeso Home Hospice nurses and aides for the love, care, and supported that they gave to Dolores and her family at this time.
