Struthers -Dorothy J. Phillips, 89, of Struthers, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clark Phillips.

Born April 27, 1935 in Youngstown, she was a daughter to the late George and Mildred (Goodwin) Lathrop.

Dorothy was a graduate of Wilson High School. She worked as a bank teller at the former Mahoning National Bank for over 30 years until her retirement. She enjoyed pressing her luck at the Mountaineer and Hollywood Casinos. She loved playing bingo, word search puzzles, going camping, and traveling the country with Clark. She collected Beanie Babies and was a huge animal lover.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughters, Patricia Wilson and Kathi Burrows of Struthers, Becki (Jim) Reardon of Columbiana,; grandchildren, Michael (Ashley) Wilson, Matthew (Caitlin) Wilson, John Rivera, Jr., Jon Gluckner, Brianna Gluckner, and James Reardon; and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son-in-law, Douglas Wilson.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no services.

The family would like to express a huge thank you to Hospice of the Valley for their wonderful care of their mom during this time.
