Francis Tregan

Francis Tregan, 85 STRUTHERS-Francis Tregan, 85, formerly of Struthers died Friday at Boardman Community Care. Mr. Tregan was born in Wilkesbarre, Pennsylvania May 11, 1917, a son of James and Anna Gruver Tregan. He came to this area in 1945. He worked at LTV as a Tool and Die Maker, retiring in 1980. He was a member of the Struthers Presbyterian Church and the Luzerne, Pennsylvania American Legion. He served in the United States Army during WW II. His wife, the former Martha E. Bartlett, whom he married July 6, 1943, died August 12, 2002. He leaves one daughter, Cheryle D. (Frank) Bober of Ravenna; one sister, Anna Mae Reilly of Luzerne, PA; three brothers, Andy Tregan of Dallas, PA, T ed Tregan of Plattsburg, NY, and Davis Tregan of Luzerne, PA; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Edgar, William, and John Tregan; and one sister, Romaine Housknecht. Funeral Services will be Tuesday 11 AM at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call Monday from 6-8 PM at the funeral Home.
