Irma Rose Cannella, 87 Lowellville- Irma Rose Cannella, 87, of 100 High Street, died Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. Mrs. Cannella was born July 27, 1915 in Riardo, Italy, a daughter of Dominic and Nicolina Parillo Ruozzo. She lived in Lowellville for most of her life coming to the United States and to Lowellville when she was five years old. She had worked at Spinosa Aluminum Color in Lowellville and during World War II worked at Republic Steel. She was a homemaker and a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Lowellville. Her husband Anthony G. Cannella whom she married August 10, 1946 died July 5, 1982. She leaves one son, Anthony D. (Carol) Cannella of Poland; four sisters, Mary Perry and Carmel Donatelli both of Lowellville, Rose Delino of Struthers and Bella Flaviano of Niles; one brother Louis Ruozzo of Lowellville; three grandchildren, Maria Boyarko, Anthony D., Jr. and Jonathan D. Cannella and two great-grandsons, Nicholas and Anthony Boyarko. One son, Joseph P. Cannella, two brothers, Peter and John Ruozzo and two sisters, Novella Brindiar and Angeline Smolko preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Saturday, 10:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville and 10:30 AM at Holy Rosary Church. Friends may call today from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
