Jack DiPinto, 64, passed away with his family at his side, Wednesday, June 21, 2023, at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona.

Jack was born December 28, 1958 in Youngstown, Ohio, a son of the late Jack and Margie Kish DiPinto.

Raised in Struthers, Jack affectionately known as Jackie, was a graduate of Struthers High School, Class of 1977, where he was a four-year starter for the Struthers Wildcats Varsity football team. He went on to receive a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Youngstown State University and was a Certified Public Accountant.

In 1977, due to the steel mills shutting down, a day remembered as Black Monday, Jackie, with friends, moved to southern California. There he began his 30-year career with the Sketchers Corporation.

Jack enjoyed the southern California lifestyle, working for Sketchers, golfing, casinos, staying loyal and cheering on the Cleveland Guardians, and spending time with family and friends.

Jack was a proud father who loved spending time with his daughter, Breana, and son, Nico. He loved reading Briana’s literary writings and poetry and watching Nico play football for Palos Verdes High School where he starred as fullback.

Jackie leaves his partner, Stephanie Williams of Los Angeles; daughter, Breana; and son, Nico, both of Los Angeles; his brother, Paul DiPinto (Cathy Safarek) of Struthers; and nephew, Michael (Geena) Safarek of Springfield.

Jack was the eldest of 19 cousins who were a huge part of his life. Jack was blessed with many wonderful friends and will be missed by all.

In addition of his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his grandparents, Nick and Mary DiPinto and Paul and Elsie Kish.

Jack will be laid to rest next to his mother and father at Lake Park Cemetery.

A private family service celebrating Jack’s life will be held at a later date.
