Jean K. Metcalf, 99 Sebring- Jean K. Metcalf, 99, formerly of Poland, died Thursday afternoon at the Crandall Medical Center in Sebring. Mrs. Metcalf was born August 17, 1903 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Eli J. and Margaret Morrison Kinsel. She raised and has been a lifelong area resident, and attended Youngstown Business School. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church, where she was part of the Trinity Quilters Club. Mrs. Metcalf enjoyed sewing and reading. She was employed by Mazda Lamp and later G E Lamp as a base filler, where she retired after 35 years of service. Her husband James âa�A"Royâa�A� Metcalf, whom she married September 1920, died October 24, 1933. She is survived by a daughter: Beverly Cronin of Sebring; three sons: James Metcalf, Jr of Struthers; William Metcalf of Cincinnati; and Richard of Centerville; 9 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren. A daughter: Ruth Oâa�a�� Hara; one sister Esther Wiseman; and a brother James L. Kinsel preceded her in death. A graveside service will be held at 12PM, Saturday, at the Lake Park Cemetery, Youngstown. Arrangements are being handled by the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers.
