Joan Golubich 81 NORTH LIMA- Joan Golubich, 81, of Assumption Village died Monday at the nursing home. Mrs. Golubich was born in Calcutta, India June 4, 1921, a daughter of Betram and Irene Cumins Browne. She came to Youngstown in 1946. She was a secretary at Amex Tool and Die in Girard, retiring in 1988 after 20 years. She was a member of Saint Johnâa�a��s Episcopal Church in Youngstown and served in the British Army. Her husband, Thomas, whom she married December 17, 1945, died March 13, 1974. She leaves four daughters, Joan( Andy)Hamrock of Lowellville, Dorothy Mitchell of Youngstown, Barbara Colatone of Anaheim, CA, and Doreen(Leo)Connelly of Austintown; two sons, John Golubich of LasVegas, NV and Daniel of Fort Collins, CO; two sisters, Dorthea Radcliff and Dulcie; three brothers, Owen(Betty), Ian, and Allen Browne all of Australia;eleven grandchildren;and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Hazel. There will be no funeral services. Arrangements are being handled by the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Lowellville.
