Paulette J. "Polly" Lauderback

April 22, 1945 — January 14, 2024

Lowellville

Lowellville - Paulette J. "Polly" Lauderback, 78, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on January 14, 2024 at the Hospice House in Poland.

She was born April 22, 1945 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late John and Catherine (Metzinger) Zareva. She graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School and worked for General Electric as a coil maker.

Polly had a personality that could never accurately be described, but if you were to try, she was a hoot. She was the life of the party, who loved the opportunities to get dressed up and often could be found dancing wherever there was music. When she lived in Arizona, she loved to spend time with her two best friends, Gloria & Adi, and together they loved to go out dancing. She enjoyed going to the casino, playing Scrabble, doing word searches, and crafting, including crocheting. Most of all, she loved her family deeply and dearly, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Some of her best moments in life were alongside her family. The world is just a bit dimmer now that she's gone.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her daughter, Leslie (Keith) Brown of Lowellville; her grandchildren, Roy N. (Jessica) Oliver III, Megan A. (John) Mertz, Shelby L. (Kyle) Patterson, Bernie (Rosa Bonilla) Conrad, and Jaden C. Brown; her great-grandchildren, EmmaLynn, Ellianna, Eyleigh, Kennedy, Oliver, Noah, Niah, Isabella, and future baby boy Conrad, due in March; sisters, Judy (Rick) Kubina of Austintown and Kathy Gbur of Austintown; along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lauderback; grandchild, Noah Brown; and siblings, John Dukes and Dianne Greene.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Lowellville, followed immediately by a memorial funeral service beginning at 6:00 p.m., celebrated by Fr. John Rovnak.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of the Hospice House for their compassionate care of Polly in her final days.
