Rita I. Burke

Rita I. Burke, 52 Struthers- Rita I. Burke, 52, of Struthers died suddenly in her home Wednesday morning. She was born February 13, 1950, in Youngstown to Vitale and Elizabeth Cooke Malandro. She was a 1968 graduate of Woodrow Wilson and a lifelong area resident and a Past- Treasurer of the Struthers High School Band Boosters. She leaves two sons: Matthew and Jeremy Burke both of Struthers; her father: Vitale Malandro of Youngstown: Linda Ashley of Cleveland; one brother: Louis D. Malandro of Girard; and one grandson: Tyler Burke at home. She is preceded in death by her mother Elizabeth Malandro; and an infant son Jason. Memorial services will be held 2PM, Friday at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, Struthers. Friends may call from 1PM until 1:45PM, Friday at the Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the American Lung Association.
