Robert Benzenhoefer

Robert Benzenhoefer, 61 Poland- Robert Benzenhoefer, 61, of 6825 Clingan Rd., died early Saturday morning at his residence. Mr. Benzenhoefer was born April 24, 1941 in Poland, a son of LaVergne and Laura Jones Benzenhoefer. He lived in Poland all of his life. He was an independent truck driver for 30 years and was a certified computer technician working from his home. He served in the United States Marine Corps from July 1958 until March 1960. Mr. Benzenhoefer was a stock car enthusiast, building and racing them for over 30 years. He leaves five sisters, Patricia Benzenhoefer of Austintown, Charlotte (Joe) Huffman of Cresson, Texas, Diana (Joe) Bonish of Poland, Susie (Russ) Schaefer of New Waterford, and Ida (Bob) Swesey of New Springfield; six brothers, Cappy (Barb) Benzenhoefer of Poland, Tucker (Carol) Benzenhoefer with whom he made his home, David (Joyce) Benzenhoefer of Cransfil Gap, Texas, Gary (Anita) Benzenhoefer of Florence, Texas, Ronnie (Johanna) Benzenhoefer of Austintown and Kenneth (Sharon) Benzenhoefer of Ft. Worth, Texas; twenty five nieces and nephews, forty-six grand nieces and nephews and one great-grand niece. One nephew William Allen Schaefer and a great nephew Matthew Wade Miller preceded him in death. Funeral services will be Wednesday, 11:00 AM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland where friends may call Tuesday from 5-8 PM
