Youngstown - Rollin W. Parker, 90, passed away on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at Brookdale Austintown surrounded by his loving family.  

Rollin was born February 4, 1934 in Youngstown, OH, a son of the late Rollin and Frances (Patton) Parker.  He was a lifelong resident of the Mahoning Valley.

Rollin was a member of Teamsters Local 377 and was a truck driver for United Excavating Company on Simon Road in Boardman for over 31 years, retiring in 1993.  

He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother.  Rollin enjoyed bowling, and played on several leagues.  He also enjoyed fishing, working in his vegetable and flower gardens, and watching car racing.  When he was younger, he participated in car racing at Sharon Speedway. 

Rollin is survived by his wife of 71 years, the former Dorothy M. Iman, whom he married on April 19, 1952; two daughters, Colleen A. Wilson of Boardman, Jennifer L. (John) Rovnyak of Lowellville; and a son, Rollin W. (Bev) Parker III of Westlake, OH; eight grandchildren, Chrissi (George) Davis, Mary (Nick) Schemetti, Kelly (Brian) Rutter, Brooke (Alan) Smith, Brett A. Rovnyak, Jonathan "Twin" (Liz) Rovnyak, Michael (Charlotte) Blake, and Justin (Leah) Haught; ten great-grandchildren, Kenny, Elizabeth, Troy, Izabella, Jacob, Shawn, Gabe, Michael, Elias, and Eleni; five great great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Paula Parker of Youngstown; a sister-in-law, Dolores Tocheck of Boardman.  

Besides his parents, Rollin was preceded in death by two sons, Thomas W. Parker and  James K. Parker; and two brothers, Richard A. Parker and Thomas G.  Parker; son-in-law, Denny Wilson; and a brother-in-law, Lou Tocheck.  

Per Rollin request, there will be a private Celebration of Life service for his family at Davidson-Becker Funeral Home, 11 Spring Street in Struthers.  There are no calling hours.
