Rose Marie Zappa

Rose Marie Zappa, 83 Struthers- Rose Marie Zappa, 83, of 24 Overlook Blvd., died Saturday morning at Shepherd of the Valley. Mrs. Zappa was born May 8, 1919 in New Kensington, Pennsylvania a daughter of Biagio and Lucia Cristello Ricciardi. She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, itâa�a��s Altar and Rosary Society, Infant Jesus of Prague, St. Nicholas Senior Citizens, Senior Citizens #1418 and AARP. Her husband Thomas B. Zappa whom she married May 6, 1938 died February 9, 1981. She leaves three daughters, Dolores A. (Victor) Wereb of Poland, Margaret L. (William) Higgins of Struthers and Loretta M. (Richard) Homick of Loganville, Georgia; one sister, Antoniette Guido of New Kensington, Pennsylvania; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren. Besides her parents and husband, one brother, Vincent Ricciardi and infant brother and sister, Vincent and Rose preceded her in death. Funeral services will be Tuesday, 12:00 Noon at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home and 12:30 PM at St. Nicholas Church, Struthers. Friends may call Monday from 3-7 PM at the funeral home.
