Willa Jane Wegele

Willa Jane Wegele, 86 POLAND- Willa Jane Wegele, 86, of Nesbitt Street. died Wednesday evening at Caprice Health Care Center. Mrs. Wegele was born in Struthers July 28, 1916, a daughter of John and Harriet Cooper Myer. She was a life long area resident. Willa was a 1932 graduate of Poland High School and a homemaker. She was a member of the Sekulta Club, Friends of the Library, Aut Mori Caldren, Poland Garden Club, and the Poland Presbyterian Church of 50 years, where she was involved with Mariners. She also was a charter member of the Poland Firemanâa�a��s Ladies Auxiliary and served as a Girl Scout leader. Her husband, Dale, whom she married January 1, 1936, died August 11, 1995. She leaves two daughters, Beth Golden of Boardman and Gwen (Jack) Shipsky of Poland; one sister, Beth Joshua of Boardman; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Saturday 11 AM at the Poland Presbyterian Church. Friends may call Friday from 4-7 PM at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and Saturday 10:00-10:45 AM at the church.
