David W.  Seivert, 68, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020, at his home.

David was born February 2, 1952 in Wyandotte, MI, a son of the late John and Margaret Brown Seivert.

At the age of one, his family came to the Youngstown area and made their home in Girard. He attended Summit Elementary School and Girard High School and at the age of 17 enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He proudly served for three years, one year in Vietnam. In 1973, he was honorably discharged and returned to the area and was employed at Warren Fabricating as a steel worker. He retired in 2017 after 44 years of service.

David's favorite past-times included hunting with his sons, drag racing, gambling and wood working, a craft that he gifted to his family and friends. David also enjoyed traveling to Niagara Falls, North and South Carolina, Las Vegas and Connecticut. David will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Sue Blucker, whom he married June 7, 2003; two sons, Bryan (Lisa) Seivert and Bradley Seivert, all of Girard; one stepson, Christopher (Candise) Blucker of Struthers; four brothers, John Brown of Warren, Robert (Mary) Seivert of Niles, Thomas (Sandra) Seivert of Cincinnati, and James (Evie) Seivert of McDonald; two sisters, Margaret Huegel of Girard and Barbara Sampson of Niles; one brother-in-law, Gary (Janice) Blucker of Struthers; one sister-in-law, Carol (Mark) Musitano of Bessemer, PA; five grandchildren, Cameron and Connor Seivert, Makayla, Braelynn and Mason Blucker; and many nieces and nephews.
